I love to cook, bake, play in the kitchen, photograph our favorites and share them all with you here on the blog. Not a professional but like to pretend sometimes. Cooking is one of my many passions.
My philosophy is all things in moderation. If we eat healthy 95% of the time, there is definitely room for splurge (see above). We don't eat a lot of meat, but willing to cave in once in awhile for the husband. I'd much prefer to experiment with vegetables and weird grains.
I get my inspiration from the million cookbooks I have stacked up in our house, blogs galore and definitely from fresh ingredients. I am a stickler about some recipes and completely random with others. Cooking is my creative outlet. Baking is my attempt to follow the rules.
I have lots of new toys to play with as a result of the wedding and looking forward to sharing more of my creative indulgences (aka recipes) as things have calmed down and we've settled back into married life. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you stick around to see what we come up with next!
